The Queen Victoria Veiled Head series has a total of 21 pieces within the collection. Between the mints, 9 pieces were struck at Sydney, 9 pieces were struck at Melbourne and 3 at the Perth Mint.  Coin Features: Composed of .2354 troy ounces of .9167 fine gold Each coin has been issued a face value of 1 Sovereign backed by the Australian government These sovereigns bear an "M" mint mark for the Melbourne mint. Coins will be in average circulated condition with the dates randomly selected based upon available inventory The obverse displays a side profile portrait of the reigning monarch, Victoria with the lettering, "VICTORIA.DEI.GRA.BRITT.REGINA.FID.DEF.IND.IMP" around the rim of the coin. The reverse contains Benedetto Pistrucci's depiction of St. George slaying a dragon, along with the date the coins were minted (1893-1901).
